- Installation of new systems and expansion of existing ones, including commissioning
- Technical setup and commissioning of customer projects
- Assembly and configuration of test environments for hardware and software
- Testing and commissioning of prepared update packages
- Receiving and processing service requests via phone and online channels
- Independent troubleshooting and log file analysis for issue resolution
- Performing maintenance and repair work
- Supporting quotation preparation and sales activities
- Advising and training customers on our ELAM system
- Documenting, reporting, and following up on service operations
- Close collaboration with development, support, and project teams
What you bring with you
- Education or experience in electrical engineering, plant engineering, electronics, production technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Solid knowledge of electrical installation, mechanics, maintenance, and network technology
- Strong experience in managing operating systems (servers and clients)
- Experience with MS SQL servers and databases
- Familiarity with structured text (e.g., XML, XPath)
- Basic understanding of PLC systems
- Proficiency in common Microsoft applications
- High level of commitment, reliability, and ability to work independently
- Technical understanding, analytical thinking, and manual skills
- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to travel or respond to short-notice assignments (including a Class B driver’s license)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Enjoyment of direct customer interaction and teamwork
